Top Festivals to Visit in 2017

Our world is full of adventure, fun, and outrageously awesome events. Festivals play a big part in this role. Festivals are events that are celebrations of either culture, art, music, traditions, and even holidays. Worldwide, there are hundreds of festivals that are celebrated annually. Most festivals are annual, meaning the festival is scheduled to return again for the next year. On the other hand, many are new, some don’t return, or many die out – so to speak.

This upcoming year of 2017 is going to be one of the best for art and music festivals. Many festivals go out to be bigger and better than the previous year. No matter the season, these festivals will be occurring all year. Again, for those of you who have never been to a festival, you’re missing out on what would be one of the greatest adventures of life. Coming up on our top 5 list, you will see the top festivals in the world that are a must to go and visit.

1: Harbin Ice and Snow Festival – Harbin, China

Number one on the top five list is the Harbin Ice and Snow Festival, located in China. This is the first on my list for several different reasons. The outstanding artwork that is produced during this festival is breathtaking.

People come to this festival to create artwork from snow and ice. Thousands of people from around the world come together to either express themselves through the artwork they create or to see with their own eyes what an individual may do with inspiration. Pictures can say a thousand words, but seeing the artwork from this festival will leave you speechless.

2: The Burning Man Festival – Black Rock Desert, Nevada

This Festival is another annual event that is a well-known, and highly recognized event, which has up to 50,000 people attend to it. This festival brings thousands of people together because of the unique artwork. The festival is one of the most popular festivals for its artwork, and entertainment.

The show is very involved with the art. Artists come here to not only find inspiration but to express themselves through the artwork. Besides, the art doesn’t compare to any art I have ever seen. The festival is kicked off at the end with the burning of a giant, wooden man – Burning Man Festival.

3: Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival – Indio, California

Coming in at number three is the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival – why? Because this festival is one of the biggest, most exciting, and energetic, annual music festival of all time. This is, honestly, one of the biggest music festivals. Men who are into lean and muscular body, check out barbrothers reviews to start getting in shape now.

The only reason this festival is not number one on the list is that I find the artwork from the first two choices on the list is more inspirational. This festival has been around since 1999; however, 2000 was the only year the festival didn’t occur. This festival is for anyone and everyone; the festival provides several different genres of music for its audience. This is also why the festival is so popular. As well as the fact that the festival continuously hosts live music.

4: Tomorrowland Music Festival – Boom, Belgium

Another festival I added to the top 5 list was Tomorrowland, also a very well known, most recognized, and biggest festivals in the world. This music festival is only at number four on my list because the festivals music genre is more centered on electronic dance.

This type of music is a lot more widespread than most people think. Thousands of people from all age groups attend this festival basically for one tremendously big party. People from other countries will travel thousands of miles just to attend this event, so I do think this festival does deserve a spot on my list.

5: Rio de Janeiro Carnival – Rio, Brazil

Last, but not least, we have Rio de Janeiro Carnival stepping in a number five. Yes, it does say Carnival, but it is also classified as a festival because of all the other activities that go on, and because of its size. This festival is also known as a street festival, where street parades, music, and blocks are only very few of the events that go on during this festival. This is also a festival that occurs annually. Constant music, and dancing surround the streets, as well as people cheering, is one great experience. This may be number five on the list, but it is for sure a must to go to this festival.

Using words to describe the experience of attending one of these festivals, is about one of the hardest things to do. No matter how endearing your vocabulary is, you would have to experience this for yourself.

The radiant energy of your surrounding environment is amorous. The sounds, the music, and the beats are stimulating. Attending a festival will be an experience of a lifetime. If you have a bucket list, be sure attending one of these events is at the top of your list. If you don’t have a bucket list, I suggest you make one as soon as possible. There is no reason for anyone to be missing out on the adventures that await them.
